I am Dr Louis Sulman a Specialist Radiologist who is the founding and senior partner of a large private Radiology Practice, where I have seventeen years of experience. I’m highly experienced in Preventative Imaging and CT Screening. I have specialized in Musculo-skeletal MRI and CT scanning, for which I’m recognized in South Africa.
I am also an avid golfer, who enjoys my weekly golf days. I have always been lagging a bit behind my fellow players, as I lost concentration towards the end and didn’t have enough power to keep up with them.
About 5 Years ago, I started training with Performa Ball’s founder Yossi Montrose in core strengthening using the gym ball. I noticed a 40% difference in my game since strengthening my core muscles. I hit the ball at least 30 yards further through better distribution in my weight from improved balance. My concentration has improved and have been winning games consistently for the last few months against my fellow team mates. Since using my core more, I put less pressure on my arms and back to hit the ball.
I have gained tremendous strides with the Perfoma Ball core private training program. During the last few years my muscle tone and definition has improved and am able to do push-ups on 2 stability balls, squats while standing on the ball, squat jumping on the ball and many more advanced exercises which I never thought would be possible.
Until recently I only found out what the core consists of, Yossi Montrose had an MRI core scan in my practice. He’s mid section was phenomenal with big proportional, local and global muscles protecting the spine.
I feel so much better after sessions which keeps me energised for hours after. It is a great way to balance myself both mentally and physically as it helps me improve my mind as well. I don't have any back, knee, wrist and other niggles that I used to have.
I recommend Performa Ball’s type of training to any sport athlete, especially golfers and anyone who is looking to get rid of back and joint pains and imrove muscle tone to start training with Yossi

I have been involved in the fitness industry for more than 15 years as a personal fitness trainer, a lecturer in Human Movement Studies/Sciences at Wits University; I have served as the academic head for Reebok Education as well as being one of their Master Trainers. I am currently employed by Discovery Vitality and manage their kids and youth health and wellness initiatives.
In the course of my career in the fitness industry, my focus was on core stability and strengthening the body through functional movements. The bulk of the training centred around the stability ball. I lectured students on its benefits and uses and thought of myself as somewhat of an “expert”, until I met Yossi Montrose that is. The number of exercises and applications he has developed is amazing. His passion and belief in its uses and benefits are exemplary. My children (aged eight and 11) had a training session with him and the balls and the exercises he gave them were appropriate, stimulating and fun. After a relatively short period of time, my daughter (aged 11) was able to stand on the ball without any assistance. My children were not the only kids in that session, there were other children there and they all received individual attention and care. The environment was safe and yet each child was challenged to their own level of ability. Yossi’s teaching ability is excellent, not just with children but with adults as well. He is patient and demonstrates the exercises well without rushing. He creates a safe, fun, non-threatening but challenging environment. His practical application of the theoretical concepts is sound and I would have no hesitation in using his expertise to train myself and other individuals.

I've been training with Peforma Ball for 2 months. My goal was to begin a fitness program to gain core strength and increase balance
Yossi is a great core stabiliser. Not only does he make exercising more fun, but I get alot more out of each workout with him than I would at the gym because he provides a unique on the ball training experience! It is also a lot more convenient has he comes to my house to train me. There is no need for expensive equipment either.
Of course the best part is the balancing on the ball session that follows each workout. I never knew how I could get to that level of balance. He always gives me a variety of different exercises that makes what used to be a boring process actually stimulating and enjoyable. He can always tell me how an exercise is working for me, and explains the process in simple terms so I can concentrate on how to perform it without being confused. I have seen results in a short period and for the first time in a very long time, can see my goals as something I can realistically achieve. I have had back problems from poor posture and not strong core muscles. After just 2 months workout with Yossi, I have improved my core, balance which has helped my running. He is knowledgeable, encouraging and professional. I would recommend him to anyone ready to improve there core.
